Essential Functions:
This position will advise and counsel the group product and group marketing operations. This will include but is not limited to product language development and review, consultation on advertising, answering all distribution inquiries, and advising and counseling on group reinsurance issues and treaties. This position will also support operations in New York and, in addition, will provide general corporate support for an affiliate which is a dental third party administrator. The attorney will also act as an important contributor to discussions concerning strategic business issues for the company's group insurance operations.

Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have seven to ten years continuous experience as a practicing attorney, be admitted to and in good standing with the Illinois Bar or a Bar with reciprocity to Illinois. Candidates without substantive experience in insurance and/or ERISA will not be considered.
