Essential Functions:
This position is responsible for overseeing administrative services of the group insurance operations for FDL; managing day-to-day operations and planing for strategic improvement and growth; and responsible for policy/certificate issue, billing/membership, customer service, call center, life claims, and STD / LTD claims in all three locations – Downers Grove, Cleveland, and Dallas.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree
- 10–15 years experience in the group insurance industry with senior management experience
- Broad industry knowledge and experience with industry designations helpful e.g. FLMI, CLU etc.
- Broad business skills including demonstrated ability to manage in a growing and changing organization
- Ability to assess strengths, improve weaknesses and provide a vision for accelerated growth and new business model; establish a culture of high performance delivery
